But from the moment I walked into VFM, it felt different. They’re an honest outfit run by good local people. Alan even went out of his way to check if the vehicle was small enough for me to drop things off at the local recycling center without an appointment. Not a huge task, but a gesture that spoke volumes. This might be an excessive review for an eight-hour van rental, but it was just so refreshing to deal with a local business that’s actually pleasant to work with - especially in an industry awash with either chains or chancer… or both. I’d encourage everyone to make VFM their first stop when renting a van.

Needed a specific size van at short notice. Phoned VFM... read more and they could not have been more helpful. I told them of my needs and they were able to get me exactly what I needed. They were waiting for me when I arrived and check-in was very quickly dealt with. Was shown round the vehicle and some helpful information was provided without any need to ask. I was on my way very quickly and it was a real bonus to be able to return the vehicle even when they were closed. Vehicle was almost brand new and spotless inside and out. All in all a very pleasant experience and will certainly use them the next time I need to hire again. Thank you for excellent service.
