I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m always apprehensive... read more about renting vehicles—mostly because the industry is full of people trying to squeeze every penny out of you. But from the moment I walked into VFM, it felt different. They’re an honest outfit run by good local people. Alan even went out of his way to check if the vehicle was small enough for me to drop things off at the local recycling center without an appointment. Not a huge task, but a gesture that spoke volumes. This might be an excessive review for an eight-hour van rental, but it was just so refreshing to deal with a local business that’s actually pleasant to work with - especially in an industry awash with either chains or chancer… or both. I’d encourage everyone to make VFM their first stop when renting a van.
